AI Ethics Policy

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 · Website: whitecore.ai · Contact: future@whitecore.ai

WhiteCore is committed to developing and deploying artificial intelligence systems responsibly, ethically and with strong respect for privacy, transparency and lawful use.

This AI Ethics Policy outlines the principles governing the design, operation and deployment of WhiteCore’s artificial intelligence systems, including computer vision, analytics and automation technologies.

By using WhiteCore services, customers acknowledge and accept the principles outlined within this policy.

1. Our Commitment

WhiteCore develops artificial intelligence technology designed to provide business intelligence, operational efficiency and automated digital signage experiences.

We believe artificial intelligence should be:

Transparent

Privacy-first

Responsible

Secure

Non-invasive

Designed to benefit businesses without compromising individual privacy rights

WhiteCore is committed to responsible AI deployment across all products and services.

2. Privacy First Architecture

WhiteCore has been designed using privacy-first AI architecture principles.

Our AI systems are designed to minimise unnecessary collection of personal information.

Core privacy principles include:

Local processing where possible

Minimal data transmission

Metadata-based analytics

Reduced dependency on cloud-based video processing

Avoidance of unnecessary storage of visual footage

Privacy protection is integrated directly into platform design decisions.

3. No Facial Recognition

WhiteCore does not use facial recognition technology.

WhiteCore systems are specifically designed not to:

Identify named individuals

Recognise specific persons

Match individuals against databases

Perform biometric identity verification

Track personal identity across unrelated systems

WhiteCore AI systems do not attempt to determine who a person is.

No identity matching technology is deployed within the platform.

4. No Biometric Identification

WhiteCore does not intentionally collect biometric identity information.

Our systems do not collect or store:

Facial identity data

Fingerprints

Iris recognition data

Voice biometrics

Personal identity templates

Identity verification data

WhiteCore does not operate as a surveillance identification platform.

5. Anonymous Analytics Only

WhiteCore AI systems are designed primarily for anonymous business analytics.

Analytics services may include:

Visitor counting

Traffic measurement

Queue analysis

Heatmap analytics

Dwell time measurement

Audience estimation

Screen attention analysis

Movement pattern analysis

Trigger-based content automation

Analytics data is designed to measure behavioural trends rather than identify individuals.

6. No Demographic Profiling

WhiteCore AI detects and counts the presence of people to measure occupancy, movement, dwell, and group density. It does not estimate age, gender, or any other demographic characteristic, and does not build audience profiles.

Analytics are limited to anonymous counts and behavioural trends - how many people are present, where they move, and how long they stay - never who they are.

7. No Video Storage By Default

WhiteCore prioritises local edge processing.

Where camera analytics are enabled:

Video may be processed locally on approved edge devices

Raw video footage is not permanently stored by WhiteCore by default

Only event metadata may be transmitted to WhiteCore cloud services

Video streams may remain entirely local depending on customer deployment configuration

WhiteCore seeks to minimise unnecessary collection of visual data.

8. Responsible Customer Use

Customers deploying WhiteCore AI systems remain responsible for lawful deployment.

Customers must comply with all applicable laws governing:

Camera usage

Privacy disclosure requirements

Surveillance regulations

Workplace monitoring restrictions

Consumer notification requirements

Regional data protection regulations

Customers are solely responsible for lawful onsite deployment.

9. Prohibited AI Uses

WhiteCore strictly prohibits the use of its AI systems for unlawful or unethical purposes.

Prohibited uses include:

Unlawful surveillance of individuals

Covert monitoring where prohibited by law

Biometric identity collection

Facial recognition deployment

Unlawful discrimination or profiling

Attempting to identify named individuals without lawful authority

Deployment for illegal monitoring purposes

WhiteCore reserves the right to suspend accounts engaged in prohibited AI usage.

10. Transparency

WhiteCore supports transparent deployment of artificial intelligence systems.

We encourage customers to provide reasonable notification where AI analytics systems are deployed in customer-facing environments where required by local law.

Transparency builds trust and promotes responsible AI adoption.

11. Continuous Review

Artificial intelligence technology evolves rapidly.

WhiteCore commits to ongoing review of:

Ethical AI deployment practices

Privacy safeguards

Model design principles

Security standards

Emerging regulatory requirements

We reserve the right to modify platform functionality where necessary to maintain responsible AI deployment standards.

12. Human Oversight

WhiteCore AI systems are designed as business intelligence tools.

AI-generated analytics should support human decision-making and operational management.

WhiteCore does not guarantee business outcomes or decision accuracy based solely on AI-generated insights.

Final decisions remain the responsibility of customers.
